When we decided to move forward with a project that will ultimately bring upwards of 5,000 additional residential units to this community on top of future mixed-use buildings, businesses and amenities, we knew it was time to unify the place and the message around the incredible aspects of city life we deliver in this sweet spot between sub and urb. We are City Place – a walkable place that connects every corner of our resident’s, tenant’s and visitor’s day – from home or hotel to work to nature trails and parks, to dining and shopping plus events and programming.

The Plaza is at the heart of the mixed-use urban core, a vibrant business and lifestyle hub offering Class A office buildings with street-level retail and restaurants, the Houston City Place Marriott, as well as prime sites for corporate campuses. The waterfront gathering place overlooking City Place Parkbrings workers, visitors and residents together for an array of community events, ranging from fitness class and children’s activations to farmers and makers markets, plus multi-day festivals. The Plaza is also walkable to other corporate campus locations within City Place.

There are already numerous ways to call City Place home. The Mark, The Belvedere and The Canopy offer elevated apartment living and two residential neighborhoods already offer beautiful single-family homes. But there is much more to come!

We’ll be bringing new home builders to City Place in the near future, a process that will begin with an anticipated sales and marketing launch in late 2024. Our family-friendly outdoor plaza area is open to the public from 7 am to 11 pm daily. Please note that events on and around The Plaza are in partnership with the Houston City Place Marriott, and there are requirements that include insurance and a minimum spend.

Smaller gatherings of less than 20 people are welcome, but given that it is an actively utilized area – with programmed events taking precedence – space and recreational amenities, including seating areas, are available on a first come, first served basis. Prohibited elements include outside catering, amplified sound, confetti, fireworks or open flame of any kind, tents and other infrastructure, plus large scale props or furniture, other than low-profile folding chairs and blankets.
