Celebrate the rhythms and traditions of Latin and Brazilian percussion with renowned artist Jorge Orta on June 25th from 9:00am until 11:00am!
In this dynamic workshop, students will dive into the origins and history of vibrant styles like samba, salsa, and more. Through collaborative music-making, participants will explore the cultural significance of these rhythms and develop a deeper understanding of world music.
By the end of the program, drummers will not only gain new skills but also have the opportunity to showcase their talents in a final performance—sharing the music they’ve learned with their peers and community.
Join us for a FREE rhythmic journey that connects culture, music, and self expression in the City Place Plaza!
