VOUW is excited to bring their Chairwave, Poem Booth, and Roast Booth pieces to City Place. Each piece embodies Slowtech – technology that slows people down, fostering human connection in a digital-first world, transforming public spaces into interactive, and social environments.

Chairwave is an interactive seating installation that encourages spontaneous conversations in public spaces. When a person sits, the seat next to them unfolds, subtly inviting someone else to join. This simple yet effective design removes the hesitation of starting a conversation, making social interaction effortless.

Poem Booth is an AI-powered poetry machine that captures a moment and turns it into a personalized poem. Visitors take a photo, and the AI generates a unique poem inspired by their image. The result is a digital poetic memory, making the experience deeply personal and reflective.

Roast Booth flips the concept of Poem Booth into something playful and irreverent. Instead of poetry, visitors receive an AI-generated roast based on their photo. The AI analyzes their expression, clothing, and posture to create a personalized (witty) insult on the spot.
