City Place has gained three new office tenants and is close to signing two more, bringing the master-planned community’s 60-acre commercial center in the Spring area close to full office occupancy.
Two chemical and one architecture firm have signed leases for City Place 1, a 149,500-square-feet office building at 1700 City Plaza Drive, according to Patrinely Group LLC, which is developing City Place’s commercial core in a joint venture with USAA Real Estate and CDC Houston.
Dennis Tarro, executive vice president and principal at Patrinely Group, said the increased leasing activity is a good sign for Houston’s office market coming out of the pandemic.
