Andrew Giammalva joins Springwoods Village Development Team as Assistant Project Manager

CDC Houston Inc., a subsidiary of Coventry Development Corporation, New York, has recently appointed Andrew Giammalva as assistant project manager for Springwoods Village. In this role, Giammalva will assist the Springwoods Village development team in the financial modeling and analysis of construction projects, as well as transactions and marketing for the master-planned community.

Prior to joining CDC Houston, Giammalva was an analyst intern at the Houston office of Holliday Fenoglio Fowler (HFF), where he assisted analysts with preparation of memorandums, term sheets, rent rolls, financial modeling, multifamily complex tours, and executive summaries.

“Andrew’s multi-faceted experience in financial analysis of different types of commercial real estate will be a valuable asset for our company as we continue to develop Springwoods Village and construct additional projects in the area,” said Warren Wilson, executive vice president of CDC Houston, Inc.

Before HFF, Giammalva also was an analyst intern at the Houston office of Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL), where he analyzed assets of all major product types, including office, multifamily, retail, industrial, and self-storage. Giammalva earned a B.A. in Economics at the University of Texas in Austin, as well as a Real Estate Finance Program Certificate from the McCombs School of Business.

Springwoods Village is a 2,000-acre mixed-use, master-planned community currently under development in Spring, TX. Located at the confluence of Interstate 45, Hardy Toll Road and the Grand Parkway, the community is home to ExxonMobil, HP Inc., ABS, and Southwestern Energy corporate campuses, several residential communities, a Kroger-anchored retail center, a 150-acre Nature Preserve and more. When completed the sustainable residential and commercial community will provide diverse housing options, civic facilities, outdoor recreation and a 60-acre CityPlace with office space, shopping, dining and lodging in an urban, walkable environment.
