September 6, 2019

CDC Houston Inc., a subsidiary of Coventry Development Corporation, New York, has recently appointed Adam Meech as project manager for Springwoods Village. In this role, Meech will assist the Springwoods Village development team in the planning, management and logistical coordination of all construction projects for the master-planned community.

Meech most recently served as superintendent for Austin Commercial, where he oversaw several multi-million-dollar Houston-area construction projects, including Houston CityPlace Marriott at Springwoods Village, Hines Market Square, and Noble Energy Corporate Headquarters.

“Adam brings an enormous amount of onsite experience at every level with major construction projects in the Houston area since 2002, like Reliant Stadium, BBVA Compass Stadium, several hospitals, hotels, and more,” said Warren Wilson, executive vice president of CDC Houston, Inc. “His deep knowledge of the Houston market in particular is a vital asset to our company and the continued development of Springwoods Village.”

Meech started his career with Manhattan Construction as a field engineer, was later promoted to assistant engineer, and finally to superintendent during his decade with the company. He remained at the superintendent level at subsequent construction employers prior to joining CDC Houston. Meech earned a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Systems Management from the Texas A&M University.

Springwoods Village is a 2,000-acre mixed-use, master-planned community currently under development in Spring, TX. Located at the confluence of Interstate 45, Hardy Toll Road and the Grand Parkway, the community is home to ExxonMobil, HP Inc., ABS, and Southwestern Energy corporate campuses, several residential communities, a Kroger-anchored retail center, a 150-acre Nature Preserve and more. When completed the sustainable residential and commercial community will provide diverse housing options, civic facilities, outdoor recreation and a 60-acre CityPlace with office space, shopping, dining and lodging in an urban, walkable environment.
